In all likelyhood, the EX footage was imported into FCP and then a QT file was exported with no transcoding and delivered to you. If it's raw footage, you'd be better off with the source BPAV folder. If it's edited, you simply need access to a mac with FCP installed so that you can transcode the material into something suitable for the DS - for.
