Did you know your Beetel 777VR1 router has a very basic firewall that helps protect your home network from unwanted Internet activity. This firewall works by blocking incoming connections that you may actually want opened for an online game or application. The process of opening these additional connections is typically called a port forward.

Here in this guide I will be showing you exactly how to port forward on the Beetel 777VR1 router. The steps I will walk you through are:

Beetel 450 TC1 is a WiFi Modem with four Ethernet ports. The Modem support latest ADSL and WiFi standards with a maximum download speed of 24Mbps. You can configure this for BSNL, MTNL or any other ADSL broadband connections through the user friendly web interface. Connect this Modem with your PC/Laptop by using the supplied Ethernet Cable. Modem by Airtel will be Beetel 110BX1 probably, or Beetel 450BX1 wireless router. You may not need Linksys modem/s. Just use change VPI VCI to 1 and 32 for Airtel. UserID and PW to be changed in WAN page for 'always On' connection. If you are using 'Bridged' Dialup(wanminiport not needed. Same for Billion modem. ( mention make ). Hi All, I want my linksys router to do the PPPOE and NAT and just set the Beetel 777vr1 as a bridge. The interface is very confusing and I am having issues with the same. Step 1

Configuration

It is important to setup a static ip address in the device that you are forwarding a port to. This ensures that your ports will remain open even after your device reboots.

After setting up a static ip address on your devices you need to login to your router.

TIP: Write this static IP address down for Step 4.

Step 2

After creating a static IP address for the device you are forwarding this port to, you need to login to the Beetel 777VR1 router. Your router uses a web interface which means to login you need to use a web browser such as Chrome, Internet Explorer, or Firefox. It normally does not matter which one you pick.

Once you have opened up the web browser, find the address bar. This is at the top of the page like this:

Simply type in the router's IP address here. The router's IP address is also called the computer's default gateway.

By default the Beetel 777VR1 router has an IP address of: 192.168.1.1

After typing the IP address into the address bar, click the Enter key on your keyboard.

A login screen should appear like this:

If a login screen did not pop up when you typed in your router's IP address, there is a good possibility that the IP address has been changed. Follow the directions on our How To Find Your Router's IP Addresspage to find out what the router's IP address is.

Once you have a login page, input the router's username and password.

  • The Default Beetel 777VR1 Router Username is: admin
  • The Default Beetel 777VR1 Router Password is: password

Press the Login button and you should now have access to your router's web interface.

Having Trouble?

This is a pretty common place to get stuck. If you find yourself here, don't panic, there are a few things you can try:

  • First, check all the different Beetel default combinations. Here is our list of all known Default Beetel Router Passwords.
  • Second, try and guess what the password/username was changed to. Use our Find Password App to make this step easier.
  • Finally, if you still are stuck after trying both of the above options, it may be time to consider a factory reset. Learn more about this option on the How to Reset a Router page.

Step 3

It is now time to find the port forwarding section of the router. To help you with this step, we begin on the Device Info page.

Begin by selecting the option at the top of the page labeled Advanced.

This brings you to a page like the one above. Click the option of NAT in the left sidebar.

Then below that select Virtual Server.

Congratulations, you have found the port forwarding page.

Step 4

Here are the ports to forward for Xbox Live:

TCP Ports:3074
UDP Ports:3074

Pick the User-defined Service Name radio button choice.

Enter the name of the program into the User-defined Service Name box. It doesn't really matter what you put into this box, but something that will remind you why these ports are being forwarded is be a good idea.

Use the Protocol dropdown box to select the protocol type of the ports you are forwarding.

In the WAN Setting and WAN Interface dropdown box select an available connection.

Put the same port number into both the WAN Port and the LAN Open Port boxes.

Enter the IP address that you want to forward these ports to in the LAN IP Address box. You can enter either the IP address of your computer or the IP address of another computer or device on your network.

After each entry is made, you will need to click the button at the bottom of the page labeled Apply Changes.
